Microfiber
Technically speaking, microfibers are defined as having very little density (less than one denier, a unit for measuring fiber density). Microfiber contributes stain resistance, durability, and softness when spun with other fibers into yarn. Derived from synthetics like polyester, microfiber can also add a subtle slickness to yarn.
